Anthony and Melissa are an American couple with deep Cape Verdean heritage. Choosing Cape Verde for their destination wedding wasn’t just about a beautiful location — it was about returning to their roots and bringing relatives and friends together for something meaningful. Surrounded by their loved ones, and accompanied by their two daughters, their wedding felt like a reunion of generations: joyful, emotional, and deeply connected.

The celebration took place at the Hilton Cabo Verde Sal Resort, where the energy of the island blended with the warmth of their community. Music was at the heart of everything — not only as entertainment, but as identity. From the rhythm of the day to the atmosphere of the party, their love for Cape Verdean culture and sound became part of the story we wanted to preserve.
